Translate the menu with one photo
Greek tavern, Italian trattoria or Japanese izakaya. Hold your phone over the menu, press once – and hear what the dishes actually are, in your language, before ordering.
Here's how to do it
-
1
Take a picture of the menu
Open Q-Snap in your browser or from the home screen and snap the page with the dishes. You don't have to type anything or choose a language – Q-Snap recognize the language yourself.
-
2
Read the translation line by line
The text is extracted with AI image recognition and translated line by line, so that the name and price of the dish are consistent. Adjust the text size with A− and A+ if it is dark in the room.
-
3
Listen to the dishes read aloud
Choose a woman's or a man's voice and listen to the translation. If you only want to read, select "Text only" in the settings – then no speech is used.
What you get
Allergies and ingredients
Nuts, shellfish, gluten – see what's actually in the description, not just the name of the dish.
Works on handwritten whiteboards
Today's dish with chalk on the board outside the café goes just as well as a printed menu.
